The Geelong Cats will play the defending Major Premiers, the Brisbane Lions, in the 2025 Australian Football League (AFL) Grand Final on Saturday at the MCG.

Although this marks their first-ever showdown in a season decider, the Cats and Lions are already well acquainted, having crossed paths three times earlier in the campaign. Brisbane claimed two of those duels, but Geelong struck hardest when it mattered most, dismantling the Lions in the Qualifying Final.

Brisbane, on the other hand, is chasing back-to-back titles in what will be its third straight appearance on the big stage. They defeated Collingwood in the Preliminary Final to secure their place in the grand finale.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times, and the latest lineup news.
