A host of the league's stars have already signalled their interest in a fresh start, while some teams are still chasing the final piece of their puzzle.

There's plenty of big questions still unanswered, but with the trade deadline looming, the clock is ticking.

When is the AFL trade deadline?

The 2025 10-day trade period began on Monday, October 6, with the window set to slam shut at 7:30 pm AEDT on Wednesday, October 15.

After this time, contracted players will remain at their current club, while delisted free agents can find a new home up until the draft.

When is the 2025 AFL draft?

The 2025 AFL national draft will take place on November 19-20.
