AFL Finals Tips Week 1: Betting preview, odds and predictions image

It's finally AFL finals time with four blockbusters lined up for the first week of post-season.

All odds per bookmaker Sportsbet.

Adelaide vs. Collingwood prediction, tip, best bet

Adelaide head into their first finals match since the 2017 grand final.

Collingwood are an experienced finals team, who managed 71 inside 50's at the the Adelaide Oval a few weeks ago in a narrow loss.

Match odds should be closer to evens. Look at Collingwood H2H or at the line.

Prediction: Collingwood by 5 points

Best bet: Collingwood H2H ($2.33)

Geelong vs. Brisbane prediction, tip, best bet

It's hard to pick a winner at the MCG, especially with Brisbane being better performed away from home this season.

Shannon Neale will return to the Cats line-up and is great value to kick two goals or more.

He has kicked three goals or more in six of his last seven matches.

Prediction: Geelong by 7 points

Best bet: Shannon Neale 2+ goals ($1.88)

GWS vs. Hawthorn prediction, tip, best bet

Up to six players could return for GWS - including Jesse Hogan, Josh Kelly, Jake Stringer, Brent Daniels, Jack Buckley and Stephen Coniglio.

But this will likely see several underdone players picked for a cut-throat final.

Hawthorn are the steadier team and could expose the Giants, who haven't been great at home this season.

Prediction: Hawthorn by 15 points

Best bet: Hawthorn H2H ($1.90)

Fremantle vs. Gold Coast prediction, tip, best bet

It's great to see the Suns make their first finals series but winning the flag will be a bridge too far this year.

Their away form still isn't good enough and the Dockers should have enough to get the job done.

Prediction: Fremantle by 15 points

Best bet: Fremantle -11.5 ($1.90)
