Gold Coast key forward Jed Walter has taken out the 2025 Grand Final Sprint, beating out Collingwood's Beau McCreery and Richmond's Maurice Rioli in the placings.

Superstar teenager Gout Gout had the honour of starting them, and when he did, it was Rioli and Toby Greene who got out quickest.
Walter may have taken slightly longer to get going, but when he did, he mowed the field down and was several lengths clear when he crossed the line.
Thanks to sponsors Telstra, Walters' junior club, Palm Beach Currumbin will receive $5,000.
Tokyo Olympics bronze medal-winning boxer Harry Garside was a distant last past the post, unable to convert his ultra-impressive 2:39 marathon into speed over the shorter distance.
