Collingwood has started their off-season list changes after delisting four players, including a premiership player from the 2023 grand final win against Brisbane.
The Magpies delisted 2023 premiership player Oleg Markov, forward Ash Johnson, backman Charlie Dean and midfielder Fin Macrae.
Markov played 43 games for the Pies since signing on in the Supplementary Selection Period (SSP) before the 2023 season after playing 51 games across his time with Richmond and Gold Coast.
Charlie Dean played 12 games for the Pies and was selected with the second pick in the 2022 rookie draft, with the Fothergill-Round-Mitchell winner selected after strong performances in the VFL for Williamstown.

Ash Johnson played 27 games and kicked 36 goals across his five seasons at the Magpies, including 21 goals in 15 games in 2023, but missed most of this year due to an injury.
Fin Macrae was taken with pick 19 in the 2020 national draft and played 21 games across his five years at the club, but couldn't cement his place in the side.
Collingwood's general manager of list and talent strategy, Justin Leppitsch, said the four players positively contributed to the club.
“This time of year is always difficult, but we commend the group on the maturity and respect they’ve shown throughout this process,” Leppitsch said in a press release by Collingwood
“We thank Oleg for his contributions to our Club. He played a key role in the 2023 AFL Premiership and has had a profound impact on our AFL program.
“Ash, Charlie and Fin, thank you for your dedication and commitment to the Club throughout your time in the black and white. They’ve all shown great resilience and have all left a long-lasting impact on the playing group.
“All four individuals are quality people, and we do sincerely wish each of them the best with their next chapter, on and off the field.”
