Andrew "Andy" Murray is a Scottish professional tennis player and currently the highest-ranked British player. He was born on May 15, 1987 in Glasgow, UK. He hold the tennis racquet at the age of 2, and soon he started to play with his elder brother Jaime, who is also a professional tennis player and plays in double only. He continued to get training from his brother and after some time, he was coached by Leon Smith for six year. Murray then moved to Barcelona, Spain for more professional training.
Soon, he won some important matches and tournaments, and got the public attention, and in 205, he was called for the English Team in Devis Cup match against Israel, where he with his partner proofed to be the best and defeated the better ranked Israel team. In 2009, he has defeated World No. 10 James Blake, World No.2 Roger Federer and World No.1 Rafeal Nadal and recorded his victory at Capitala World Tennis championship 2009.
