Wayne Bridge Biography

Wayne Michael Bridge was born on 5 August 1980 in Southampton, England. He is currently playing for the Premier League team Manchester City as a Defender. He started his professional football with Southampton in 1998 and remained with the club for the next 5 years making 153 appearances for the club. In 2003 he joined Chelsea for a fee of £7 million and soon establishes himself in the team but later he was loan out to fulham. In 2009 he joined Manchester City for an undisclosed fee thought to be in the region of £10 million. He is also the member of England national football team and has played 32 matches for his country scoring one goal.
