Peter Crouch Biography

Peter James Crouch was born on 30 January 1981 in Macclesfield, England. He is currently playing in Premier League for the Portsmouth as a Striker. Crouch started his professional football Queens Park Rangers in 2000 and after playing single season with the club he moved to Portsmouth in 2001 but soon left the club and joined Aston Villa for a fee of £5 million. Villa sold Crouch in July 2004 to Southampton for a fee of £2 million signing a four-year deal. After playing one season with Southampton he was sold for £7 million to Liverpool, on a four-year contract. He played 88 matches for the Liverpool scoring 22 goals in that process. In 2008 he was again sold to Portsmouth for the transfer fee of worth up to £11 million.
