Niko Kranjcar was born on 13 August 1984 in Zagreb Yugoslavia. He is currently playing in Premier League for the Portsmouth as a Midfielder. He started his professional football with Dinamo Zagreb in 2001 where he went on to make 85 appearances scoring 19 goals. In 2004 he joined Hajduk Split where he helped the side to win the Croatian title in his first season. In 2006 he was transfer to the English Premier League side Portsmouth for a fee of £3.5million and made his debut for the club in the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
