Jakub Kindl was born on 10th February, 1987 in Sumperk, Czechoslavakia. By profession he is a hockey player, playing for he Grand Rapids griffins. Before that, he had played for the Kitchener Ranjers that belongs to the OHL.
In the 2005 NHL Draft, Jakub was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings from 19th overall. Jakub had played in three games for the Grand Rapids Griffins of American Hockey League, in the season 2005-06. He holds a record of two penalty minutes and one assist in those games.
