An excellent player at Majors League baseball from Venezuela, Omar Vizquel was born on April 24, 1967 in Caracas, Venezuela. In Major League Baseball, he represents Texas Rangers as Shortstop. Texas Rangers acquired him due to his great skills and very good performances several times he has shown in different games. He possesses an experience of 20 years in majors levels. He has performed for several teams at national minor's levels, and in the majors, Vizquel has played for Seattle Mariners, Cleveland Indians, San Francisco Giants and Texas Rangers. For Texas Rangers, Vizquel wears shirt no. 13. Right from his childhood, he was inspired by the game of baseball. He studied at Francisco Espejo School Caracas,VZ and played his early career baseball games representing his school team where he was considered to be a good baseball player and due to his potentials he was considered to be a future star. Playing baseball at junior's level it was a big opportunity for him when Omar Vizquel was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Mariners in 1984. He played in the national minor's level professional baseball where he impressed many people and gathered a number of fans. It was a bounty time when Vizquel was called up to join the roster of the main team on April 3, 1989 for the Seattle Mariners.
