A professional baseball player from USA, Matt Antonelli was born on April 8, 1985 in Peabody, Massachusetts. He represents San Diego Padres at Major League Baseball as Second baseman, and has been an important part of the world class team. By showing good performances many times, he is quite a famous player now, and has been a highlighted figure among the fans. He has been playing baseball professionally for 1 year. He wears shirt no. 10 in San Diego Padres. Since the game of baseball was introduced to him when he was a child Antonelli used to play at home, and later in the St. John's Prep School Danvers, Massachusetts, where he represented the school team. Antonelli used to be a good player for his college as well. He was in Wake Forest University and used to represent the college team in baseball competitions. His college team won some important matches due to his performances. Along with others, Antonelli was also keen to be signed by a team in the professional baseball league. After playing baseball for several years, it was a time to cheer, when he was selected by San Diego Padres in 1st Round (17th overall) of 2006 amateur entry draft. He had to play several games in the minors' level before making it to the majors. However, soon, his dream came true and he made his debut in Majors League on September 1, 2008 for the San Diego Padres.
