Jeffrey Todd Bailey was born on November 19, 1978 in Longview, Washington. He is currently a part of Boston Red Sox organization as a first baseman, outfielder, and a designated hitter.
Bailey started his professional baseball career when the Florida Marlins of MLB drafted him in 1997 and remained continued to play in minor league till 2001. In 2002, he was traded to Montreal Expos and in 2003.He signed a contract with Red Sox and spent almost two seasons in the minor league before making to the major league in 2007 with Red Sox against Detroit Tigers.
