George Hendrick biography
Representing Tampa Bay Rays in Major League Baseball as the hitting coach, George Hendrick is a very famous and experience personality in professional baseball. Hendrick was born on October 18, 1949 in Los Angeles, California. He has played a very impressive role in the current performance of Tampa Bay Rays. Hendrick has played for Oakland Athletics, Cleveland Indians, San Diego Padres, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates and California Angels professionally in Majors League Baseball. After playing baseball for several years, it was a time to cheer, when he was signed by a major league team. He had to play several games in the minors' level before making it to the majors. However, soon, his dream came true and he made his debut in Majors League on June 4, 1971 for the Oakland Athletics. So far, apart form a lot of fame and fortune, he has earned some notable honors that include Silver Slugger, World Series champion and All-Star.
