A very talented professional baseball player from Mexico, Dennys Reyes was born on April 19, 1977 in Higuera de Zaragoza, Mexico. At present he is the part of the St. Louis Cardinals's current roster as Relief pitcher. The team's lineup is very strong having such a player with them, as on many occasions, he has played very well for his team. Reyes has a remarkable talent and he has shown great skills as Relief pitcher. Fans have given him a nick name The Big Sweat, and he is sometimes called by his nick name. He has been playing baseball professionally for 12 years. In professional baseball league system, he has played for Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Colorado Rockies, Texas Rangers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Arizona Diamondbacks, Kansas City Royals, San Diego Padres, Minnesota Twins and St. Louis Cardinals, apart from those in the minor's levels. For St. Louis Cardinals, Reyes wears shirt no. 36. He joined Ignacio Zaragoza School Higuera de Zaragoza,MX where he played baseball for the school team. His passion and skills was demonstrated well there, and selectors of baseball teams and their affiliates started to observe him so that he can be picked in future. Reyes played as a junior and climbed the ladder and after observing his performance, and as it was expected, he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1993. He later spent some time at the minor league, and then he was called up to made his debut in the majors' on July 13, 1997 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Reyes is earning a remarkable salary of $1,000,000 as of 2008-2009.
